Our House

The Coach House is a peaceful house set in gardens of 2 acres and a 6 acre paddock. The garden has lawns and colourful borders, an ornamental vegetable garden, all in an informal setting of parkland and trees. The garden was created by us from a pasture in 1985 as we converted the barn. Helga’s colour sense as a painter is obvious: David tends the lawns and trees with care.

There is a hard tennis court and a full size croquet lawn. Two 27-hole golf courses are only 10-15 minutes away, as is a fitness and leisure spa at a five star hotel.

There are three attractively decorated and comfortable bedrooms - a twin/double room, one double and a single. Guests have the use of their own private bathroom and television.

The large drawing room and log fire are a pleasure in the winter. The house is centrally heated.
